XFree86 32bit color depth on Thinkpad 770X

At work I have a IBM ThinkPad 770X. I've been able to do 1280x1024 with vesa
driver (cause trident wont go further 640x480) with a color depth of 16. I'd
like to have a 24bit color depth. Has anyone managed to accomplish this?
This message is address to 770X users, but just in case, this thinkpad uses

as seen on "lspci" command
