I just started doing this tonight after making a small test text file
and this is what happened after I typed in the smbclient command:
(printing to my wife's 98 box with an HP laserjet 1100 and I have
no idea what unexpected.tdb means so sorry about that)

andy@debian:~$ smbclient //jen/hp -P -c "print test"
Got a positive name query response from 192.168.1.65 ( 192.168.1.65 )
tdb((null)): tdb_open_ex: could not open file /var/run/samba/unexpected.tdb:
No such file or directory
tdb((null)): tdb_open_ex: could not open file /var/run/samba/unexpected.tdb:
No such file or directory
Password:
putting file test as test (7.6 kb/s) (average 7.6 kb/s)

After I put her password in.....
It worked! But it's only plain text. I got a bunch of .xls
invoices I need to print tomorrow.
That's a different ballgame.
Need to mess with the printcap file or something....

Hope this helps you get started!!!
