If you're using 24 bit colour, I don't think it would work on his card,
since he says that he has 2MB video memory, and 1024x768x3bytes = 2304
kB, or 256 kB over 2 MB.
To the OP, what colour depth are you using? If you want to use
1024x768, you shouldn't use anything over 16 bits.
