  1. rtf2latex for RTF -> TEX, pdflatex for TEX -> PDF
  2. rtf2htm for RTF -> HTML, print it (in a file) to get a ps, 
     ps2pdf for PS -> PDF
  3. use any rtf editor you want (abiword, openoffice, ted, etc) 
     and print it in a file to get a ps file, then ps2pdf 
  4. wvPDF (word file to pdf)

There are more ways, I am sure.
