I think this is a better option of those that replied (and thanks for all the 
replies!).  I will alter the cnt/alt/del default to a halt.

I am the only user on this laptop, but I don't see any logic to have to go 
through the process of logging in, running stuff, then logging in more to 
shut off the computer--too M$ like! :)
