an old IBM thinkpad 486... I cant install linux on it!!
Hi!
I've tried to install a woody on a 486 IBM thinkpad
it hs an Hard disk with 117 Mb of space an I know that it is controlled
by the MCA system...
I tryed with a new 1.4.18 kernel... it recognize the eda disk and his
partition (eda1 eda5 eda6 eda7) but it can't installroot ile system...
why?
Thereis anyone who have succesfully installed Linux on this machine?
