3com 3c556 combo

   My Actiontech combo-minipci-card died, and Dell replaced it with a 3com
   3c556 minipci combo-card and the modem dosn't work...I search and I
   search and it looks like there is no driver...Have anybody made this
   modem work??

To my knowledge, no has made this work.  Here is information from Al
Stone at HP, who made a serious effort to get information for this
chipset:
