In debugging this, I found another issue. If one sets up
SUSPEND_ON_AC=false, /etc/apm/apmd_proxy "rejects" the event, and does
not run the appropriate scripts in /etc/apm/event.d ..., therefore
modules are not unloaded, the clock is not set correctly and so on.
I filed a bug report on apmd for this (and set SUSPEND_ON_AC=true).
I also learnt that "key generated events" (Fn-F8, or whatever) are
"system" events, and this is the only option to "hibernate" my machine,
so I really don't want this feature, since it would prevent hibernating
with Fn-F8 while on AC power!!
