eth0: Interrupt(s) dropped! & woody X problem

	Hi,

	I have Debian potato in a IBM/Thinkpad 380ED and a PCMCIA Linksys
NE2000 compatible network card. The HD has Potato in one partiton
	and woody in the other.

	The message

	eth0: interrupt(s) dropped!

is appearing every minute, almost. Things used to work ok but I've
reinstalled Debian a couple of times, so something changed. The output
from ifconfig and /proc/interrupts are at the end of the mail, if it
helps. This happens in both woody and potato.

The partition with woody can't start the X system. After xinit
(xdm seems not to come up) I get messages such as:

         xinit: connection refused (errno 111)
xinit: no such process (errno 3)

debconf: unable to initalize frontend Gnome
         debconf: (DISPLAY problem?)

	Any help is appreciated
