You should try to use a CD from a Linux distribution (eg. Debian) as
your boot device.  When the LILO prompts appears, type "rescue".  It
should boot a Linux system from which you can mount your Linux
partition.  From there, run lilo -C <lilo.conf on the partition> to
install the boot loader.
