configuring X and IrDa on ASUS A1



Hi all,
I just received a new laptop: it is an ASUS A1.
It seems really a good laptop but it is too new (!) to get help from
internet pages.

I really need help to configure X, I mean the ModeLine for the internal
LCD screen. Later I probably will need help for IrDA but I think that
this is a chipset still not supported by the kernel.

The motherboard built with a SiS630 chip. lspci output is:
