Sound and Thinkpad 560X

Hello,

I'm trying to get the sound (ALSA) working on an IBM thinkpad 560X
notebook
(CS4237B so I've been told) running Debian/Potato. Unfortunately I keep
getting the following
error:

/lib/modules/2.2.14/sound/snd-card-cs4236.o: init_module: Device or
resource busy.

I'm translating the resources reported by Win95 (see them after my
signature) into things like the following (I've tried several
combinations):

modeprobe  snd-card-cs4236 snd_index=1 snd_id=CARD_1 snd_port=0x530
snd_cport=0x538 snd_mpu_port=0x300 snd_fm_port=0x388 snd_irq=5
snd_mpu_irq=15 snd_dma1=1 snd_dma1_size=64 snd_dma2=0 snd_dm2_size=64

Note: Win95 says the MPU's IRQ is 15. However, the pcmcia service always
assigns this IRQ to my Ethernet PCMCIA card. I wrote "exclude irq 15" in
/etc/pcmcia/config.opts but nothing changes. I've tried the ALSA drivers
with pcmcia disabled but I get the same error anyway.

Can anybody provide me with a valid sound configuration for this
portable?

Thank you,
