Here's my thingy.
---/etc/apm/suspend.d/time.sh is as follows:---
#!/bin/sh
/usr/sbin/hwclock --hctosys --utc
also, although this is slightly more optional:
--- /etc/apm/suspend.d/time.sh ---
#!/bin/sh
/usr/sbin/hwclock --systohc --utc
Both files, of course, are chown root and chmod +x.
