Todd,
I suspect your sound card is a Yahama opl3-sa3. Have a look in your
boot
sequence or "$/bin/dmesg | more " to see what your kernel thinks the
sound card
is. If you are running a 2.0 series kernel you may need to upgrade to a
2.2 for
the correct driver .
If it is you will need to recompile the kernel with the correct driver
and irq
settings (if you select a module you don't need to specify the irq's).
Failing that tell us more about your hardware, maybe send us the output
of
/bin/dmesg.
