I have gotten 380XD (with CS4237 card- note that I didn't notice B at
the end) to work by using cs4232 module (on 2.2.13-based potato) after a

bit of trial and error.
To make it work i had to do following:
modprobe cs4232 io=0x530 irq=5 dma=1 dma2=0

i don't use midi so I never have it enabled. I also have since automated
this through the /etc/modutils thingy, and sond is quite good for a
laptop.
