todays Locales error

hi, I have problem. I made usual apt-get update; apt-get upgrade and I 
got everything instaled exept new locales:

Konfigurowanie locales (2.3.6-5) ...
Generating locales (this might take a while)...
 pl_PL.ISO-8859-2... done
Generation complete.
*** update-locale: Error: LANGUAGE ("pl_PL:pl") is not compatible with 
LC_ALL (pl_PL)
dpkg: b³±d przetwarzania locales (--configure):
podproces post-installation script zwróci³ kod b³êdu 9
Wyst±pi³y b³êdy podczas przetwarzania:
locales
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

I dont know who to change LANGUAGE, or if I should even try.

Any ideas?
