Well, I've noticed that you've just found correct person
(vide your mail about PDDP cvs acoount ;->).
If you want to work on debian-installer, try to focus on 2nd-stage packages.
They need lot of work.[1] And in fact, you don't find this .po files in
our repository. The simplest way to translate them is to fetch suitable
package with `apt-get source package`, then translate po template and
send it as bug against this package.
However if you want to work on Debian's webpages, or other documents
then you're welcome to do so in our repository.
