Re: [smc-discuss] Malayalam console fonts - available or not?

AFAIK, this[1] is the only work done towards complex script support in GNOME Terminal (VTE). But I rememer reading[2]  that Behdad (developer of VTE) said it is unlikely for VTE to get complex script support anytime soon. Someone need to confirm.

Dear Amruth,

Terminal doesn't support complex text rendering and so it doesn't
support any malayalam fonts. However, as far as I know, emacs has
Malayalam Text rendering support. I am ccing this mail to SMC mailing
list, where you can get more details.
