안녕하세요 "데비안 새로운 관리자 안내서"를 2000년에 번역한 이후 10년이 넘었습니다. 이후 2004년에 양유성님이 업데이트하고 계속 업데이트되지 않는 상태입니다. 일단 저는 업데이트할 생각이 전혀 없습니다. 게으름도 있었지만 업데이트하 지 않았던 이유는 개발자를 위한 문서는 노력에 비해 번역의 효과가 미미하다 고 생각하기 때문입니다. 지금까지도 보면 제 생각은 틀리지 않았다고 생각합 니다. (일반적인 번역의 가치를 무시하는 것은 아닙니다. 저는 자유/오픈소스 소프트웨어 메시지와 문서를 누구보다도 많이 번역했고 번역하고 있습니다.) 하지만 제가 틀렸다고 생각하시면 얼마든지 아래 DDP 프로젝트에 가입하신 다 음 SVN 권한을 받고 번역 작업을 하시면 됩니다. :) maint-guide는 내용이 거 의 다 바뀌었고 형식도 docbook xml로 바뀌어서 업데이트가 아니라 새로 번역 하셔야 할 겁니다. http://alioth.debian.org/projects/ddp 번역 자원하는 분이 따로 없으면 옛날 내용으로 혼란만 주기 보다는 삭제하도 록 건의하겠습니다. -------- Forwarded Message -------- 보낸 사람: Osamu Aoki <osamu@debian.org> 제목: maint-guide: ready for translation update 날짜: Sun, 10 Apr 2011 22:35:33 +0900 Hi, I have completed DocBook XML conversion and contents rewrite of maint-guide packages for wheezy. When I automatically converted, it was something like 90% automatic conversion. Then contents rewrite caused it to be 60%-75% translation. I have completed Japanese translation and it was good way to improve the health of the content. Please start updating the translation. Please make sure to run $ make po4a/maint-guide.XX.po before commiting your translation to always wrap text properly. Since line numbers are removed, diff will be more sane in the future.
