Setting up a bridge firewall

chi mi dà una mano a non fare scempio di questo paragrafo:

filtering firewall completely transparent to the network that lacks  an IP 
address and thus cannot be attacked directly.  Depending on the kernel you 
have installed, you might need to might to install the bridge firewall patch 
and then go to _802.1d Ethernet Bridging_ when configuring the kernel and a 
new option _netfilter ( firewalling ) suport_."
