Il va donc ranger cette description dans un coin de son arborescence et espérer qu'apt fera le boulot ?

That would be no problem, but may I ask a question?

I've always thought that this is task for DDTP. Or do you have some
other mechanism to display this description to the user?

I know next to nothing about i18n/l10n, but IIRC I can include the
translated description in the control file as Description-cs,
Description-ja etc., so that apt will display it.

But I can't find anything about this anywhere, so I'm probably totally off -
I guess to avoid you wasting time, we just forget translating the
description for now. (Especially since the ddtp seems to be dead.)
