CYBERSEMINAR: LINUX AND SUN A STRATEGY FOR DEVELOPERS

This cyberseminar is an interactive online event in France
that will take place on October 7 at 5:30 P.M. The event is
intended for software developers and IT professionals. All
you need to participate is a browser and a telephone.
In this cyberseminar you will get answers to questions such
as what are the implications and options for developing in
Linux and Solaris? For example, can you create one source base
for both? Can applications be ported from one platform to the
other? What is Sun's role in the Linux community and what
recommendations does Sun have for developers?
Topics include:
o Linux in the marketplace
o Sun's Linux strategy
o Partnerships between Sun and Linux (Solaris, Java, UltraSPARC)
o Development Tools
o Lxrun & compatibility kit
Presentations will be in English. The presenters will be able to
answer questions from the participants in both English and French.
