When it ends up completely generic, with no specific examples of
media, I worry that readers might not be able to tell what we really
mean by it. In fact re-reading it I'm not 100% sure I know myself!
It seems to be drawing a distinction between
a) *physical* media (from vendors) for an installer, and
b) *software* ISOs (from cdimage.d.o) for a updated package-set.
But it ought to be saying "each kind of each" - something along the
lines of:
New disc images and physical media such as DVD-sets allowing updates
or fresh installs will be available soon from the regular locations.
