I think that the new strings first need a review in debian-l10n-english. For instance, the new template synopsis is written as a sentence more than a title, and I suspect that the use of English could be improved. I suggets you to submit the templates file (rather than the POT file) to debian-l10n-english....and then only, send a call for translation updates.
