Further to this, it's worth pointing out a few imminent changes: 0: The remote worker support will be redesigned to remove the need for the limitations described in the above paragraph. This work begins next week but is expected to only be fully complete around the time of the Jessie freeze. 1: The future remote worker support will not have a direct connection to the database, so those templates are inherently short-lived. 2: lava-deployment-tool is the former installation method, with which all existing users of LAVA will be familiar. 3: LAVA is mature software, recently refactored for Django1.6 support and migration away from virtual environments to packaging. The next refactoring is due in lava-dispatcher (not currently using debconf). The packages are in regular usage and are to be deployed into the main service this month. https://ftp-master.debian.org/new/lava-dispatcher_2014.05.11.14-1.html http://validation.linaro.org/ - lava-deployment-tool install, due for upgrade http://staging.validation.linaro.org/ - packaging install. -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/
