Further to this, it's worth pointing out a few imminent changes:

0: The remote worker support will be redesigned to remove the need for
the limitations described in the above paragraph. This work begins next
week but is expected to only be fully complete around the time of the
Jessie freeze.

1: The future remote worker support will not have a direct connection
to the database, so those templates are inherently short-lived.

2: lava-deployment-tool is the former installation method, with which
all existing users of LAVA will be familiar.

3: LAVA is mature software, recently refactored for Django1.6 support
and migration away from virtual environments to packaging. The next
refactoring is due in lava-dispatcher (not currently using debconf).
The packages are in regular usage and are to be deployed into the main
service this month.
