"Run a scan" sounds odd.  I suggest: "A list of TV stations found by
scanning can be included in the configuration file."

(As I understand it, this is extracting data from the teletext lines
at the top of the picture broadcast.  Also, extracting channel names
from teletext is probably possible with DVB, but wouldn't make much
sense because it's also broadcast another way (DVB-SI).)

"allows" needs an object as well as an action, but I can't think what
