The fix for this is pending for dpkg... I remember the translator
mentioning this is a very common error in Dutch.

I can't check this immediately but probably some people in the
-10n-dutch team will and, if needed, will fix the bug by sending a new
translation file to the coreutils package maintainer (cat belongs to
coreutils and the translation error is obviously in cat).

Then, the package maintainer will forward this upstream as the error
is certainly in upstream's translation.

I suggest you don't report such bugs as "general" but try to find the
relevant package and report the translation bug against it.

If you need help for this you should get in touch with the
debian-l10n-dutch mailing list.....Even better, you can integrate the
team and bring all these nice people very valuable help....:-)
