It's not very clear to me. Does this install Knoppix to a USB/DVD/HDD/etc.
or does it generate a new Knoppix distro based upon some sort of config
files, compile the code, etc?

I've got a UEFI-capable machine (no idea if I'm booting UEFI). I could
setup something so he could access it, assuming he's okay with the low BW
connection I have to the internet.

Not to throw more work at him, but one thing I've been curious about is
the state of reiserfs, which Knoppix has always used by default. It was
removed from the Linux Kernel for unclear reasons as it still compiles and
runs fine last I read.
