What does Knoppix need for it's next release?

Hello,
I've been a long time user of Knoppix as a rescue CD/DVD and, sometimes,
as my main distro. Yeasterday, I went to get the latest release, as I had
not updated my copy in a while. I found that the last release was from
2021.

So, I'm assuming that there is some holdup to releasing a new version of
Knoppix. Do you need more testers or what?
