Looks like another broken Debian package. A while ago, I had to remove
monodevelop because of similar problems. :-(

Usually, all Debian packages are designed to create working programs
after installation with all dependencies resolved, but in this case, it
seems that monodevelop may depend on a wrong version of Firefox that
contains a shared library (libgtkembedmoz.so.) which is no longer
available. Though there was just a warning about it, apparently there
are more problems involved.

I tend to just file a bug report and remove tha package. It's just a
waste of space if it does not work out-ot-the-box. :-(

Thanks, nevertheless I'm sad that there are still always packages that I
apparently failed to notice as non-working (which is difficult anyways,
considering the amount of programs installed).

Maybe you can use eclipse instead? There should be plugins for C++ available.
