Adjusting screen size for hard disk install.
I had a problem with a hard disk install on a desktop with one of
the new flat screens that is wider than the old crts in proportion to
the height. I measured the visible glass height and width. Then I
multiplied each dimension by 72 (convert to pixels). I put a mode
line in xorg.conf with those dimensions. Now the screen image fits
perfectly.
