What is nice and what is not is a personal matter. I absolutely love the
KNOPPIX 5.1 wallpaper and certainly wouldn't want to replace it with a
picture of a lion. But then I love the Arctics and don't think the place
is "cheerless". Far from it.
The topic of the default wallpaper in a distribution gets discussed so
often, but I think it's a complete waste of time. There isn't a single
wallpaper on this planet that will please every single user. Don't like it?
Fair enough, you have every right to not like it. Have one that everybody
will love? I don't think so. There is no such graphic.
