[Solved][knx2hd] "installation requierements are not fullfilled yet"

Hi,

Some news:

My hard disk stopped in use, then was not detected by BIOS anymore.

I don't know if it's linked, but KNOPPIX 5.1.1 now installs itself without error
with a new disk :)

New disk is about 60 Gb (previous 20Gb), 7200 tr/mn, 2"1/2

I've created four partition (primary):

Jody@Powernux:~$ sudo fdisk -l /dev/hda

Disque /dev/hda: 60.0 Go, 60011642880 octets
255 têtes, 63 secteurs/piste, 7296 cylindres
Unités = cylindres de 16065 * 512 = 8225280 octets

Périphérique Amorce Début Fin Blocs Id Système
/dev/hda1 1 76 610438+ 82 Linux swap / Solaris
/dev/hda2 * 77 713 5116702+ 7 HPFS/NTFS
/dev/hda3 714 1733 8193150 83 Linux
/dev/hda4 1734 7296 44684797+ 83 Linux

I was obliged to buy Microsoft Windows XP with my laptop,
after creating this partitions with Qtparted on KNOPPIX,
I have rebooted with Xp installation disk.

Nb: computer is 3-4 years old,
now it seems that Windos is sold without reinstallation support

After a long time, I could reboot with KNOPPIX :D

I could now use via Xorg driver, I just precise at boot time:

knoppix lang=fr xmodule=via

My network is behind a router with DHCP, I could surf once on the desktop.

I launch netcardconfig to store network config

- start installer:
IGNORE_CHECK=1 sudo knx2hd

- then save configuration

- edit configuration file, to precise hda4 as home, disable boot floppy, cups at start time ...

- load file and start install

Progress bar start at 98%, but after some minutes install was done.

Then i tried to write on NTFS partition: make a directory, make a file inside: Windows seems always ok

Then I boot with:

knoppix tohd=/dev/hda2 lang=fr

KNOPPIX managed to write KNOPPIX files and boot from NTFS partition ! :)

And Windows always run ;)

I could not find how to specify cpufreq governor, so I've installed cpufrequtils (ondemand is used in live-cd)

Now I could set ondemand with:

sudo cpufreq-set -g ondemand

Speed change from 532 Mhz to 997 Mhz
