Permanent home directory

Its me again :)

I have a new question: I have set a permanent home directory on an USB
stick. When booting into knoppix the home dir gets found and used.

Is there a way to execute the script, that adds the permanent home dir
via boot time later? It has happened some time, that I have forgotten
to plug in that USB stick and I want to load at least my network
settings :)

Or as a simpler question: What is the name of that script when I set
the home=scan option?
