wrong module loaded for 3Ware 9500 RAID controller

 Hi Knoppix hackers,

I'm a big fan of Knoppix, and I find it very useful!

At work I have a Tyan S2881 (Opteron 246 HE, 6GB RAM, BIOS version 2.06).
It has an IDE CDROM, but the only disks attached are via a PCI-X RAID
controller (a 3Ware 9500SX, which is quite nice BTW. It still suffers from
the problem of all HW RAID implementations, that it can only combine whole
disks, not RAID5 part of your 4 disks and RAID1, RAID0, and JBOD other
partitions like you can with md. swap on RAID5 just seems wrong!) Anyway,
enough with the hardware review...

 Knoppix v4.0.2CD loaded 3w-xxxx, and /proc/partitions was empty. I
unloaded that and loaded 3w-9xxx, and then I had /dev/sda*. So, something
in the module-detecting is wrong. Other than that, knoppix works fine on
this hardware (dual tg3 ethernet detected, builtin ATI video works fine, etc.)
