Problem with Xine

using Xine,

the stream stops before the end. (I didn't noticed the exact time, but it's
after more than 14 min and the stream shouldn't be much more than 16 min
long.)

I tried this afternoon with Windows at the local library and there's no
problem.

I have 256 megs RAM, 135 swap and /free/ didn't indicate any shortage of
memory.

I was also quite surprized to see that, with Windows XP, it is possible to go
straight to the end of the multicast and get only that portion even though
the beginning wasn't received. Isn't a streaming session opened for many
users at a time? So how can one viewer jump to the end while others are still
at the beginning? Is it possible to jump to the end with Xine or MPlayer, or
to save the stream once viewed? I never succeeded.

Regards!
