[debian-knoppix] [debian - knoppix] booting with grub an iso-image-file from hdd possible??

Hello,

I'm using w32grub for windows trying to start a poor man knoppix install without changing the mbr.
( "1.5 Run Microsoft Windows 98 or 95,
copy Knoppix to HD & boot with loadlin" from
http://www.knoppix.net/docs/index.php/HdBasedHowTo
replacing loadlin with w32grub
)

the booting process works fine until the iso image "knoppix" should be accessed.
This file cannot be found and the boot process stops.
my menu.lst(grub.conf) entry is:

# For booting LinuxDefender
title LinuxDefender
root (hd0,0)
kernel /KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX/VMLINUZ
initrd /KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX/MINIROOT.GZ

does the error is caused by a grub bug or does the ntfs partion has to be claimed for it?!
LinuxDefender is told to have ntfs-r/w support...

thanks
Maik
