Re: [debian-knoppix] Tried new wi-fi card with Knoppix 3.4 (2nd attempt to send this mail)

Hello.

Nope. It depends on the card. I've seen
cards where on boot knoppix scans and
sets up a wireless connection. The card
I have does not do this. In fact, if I
ask the card to scan (iwlist scan) for
access points, it crashes linux. It has
to do with broken drivers (prism2_usb).

I don't know if there is a knoppix
wireless card setup utility. Perhaps
someone else can pipe up here.

Hope this partially helps.
