[debian-knoppix] Knoppix from scratch

Hello Everyone,

I'm working on my next release of KnoppMyth. Instead of remastering Knoppix, I'm looking to build it from scratch w/ sid + Klaus' goodies. I have a good sid base, plus 2.6.7. At this point, I'm ready to recompile the atmelwlandriver, cloop, loop-aes, orinoco and knx-alsa. While apt-get -b source cloop builds the src and utils deb, it doesn't build the module and errors out:

type gcc-2.95 >/dev/null 2>&1 && { CC=gcc-2.95; export
CC; }; /usr/bin/make cloop.o KERNEL_DIR=/usr/src/linux
make[2]: Entering directory `/cloop-2.01'
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `cloop.o'. Stop.
make[2]: Leaving directory `/cloop-2.01'
make[1]: *** [build-mod] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/cloop-2.01'
make: *** [forknoppix] Error 2
Build command 'cd cloop-2.01 && dpkg-buildpackage -b
-uc' failed.
E: Child process failed

I'm also getting errors while recompile the others(I have not tried knx-alsa yet), but will try and dig up the reason why does are erroring. I know I can simply compile cloop using make and it does produce cloop.ko. In general, I'm seeking advice on how I can achieve my goal of a Knoppix from scratch.

Thanks,
Cecil
