No. Knoppix versions with kernel >= 2.4.20 need at least 20 MB Ram for
booting, even in text mode. Knoppix 3.0 (july 2002, kernel 2.4.18)
runs on 16 MB Ram in text mode.
However, if you want X, you should use an old distro with kernel 2.0.x,
old glibc and XFree 3.x.
