[debian-knoppix] customized knoppix doesn´t boot own kernel

Dear List,

I made a customized Knoppix and built a new kernel.
Everything is working fine, except that I can´t boot with the new kernel.
I think it´s a problem with writing in the mbr. Because on a hard drive 
installation everything is working fine. That means lilo.conf should be 
alright.
How can a made the CD to boot with new kernel?
