[debian-knoppix] remastering: problems with create_compressed_fs
Hello everybody,
i'm trying to remaster Knoppix with only a few simple changes (e.g. firewire hacks in knoppix-autoconfig)
but when i tried to make the image it had 710mb and wouldn't fit on a cd any more
searching for the reason i decompressed the KNOPPIX cloop fs and compressed it again
...and it had grown about 10mb
i once even tried did a create_compressed_fs on the mounted original KNOPPIX file and it still got bigger
i have been digging forums, howtos and the archive of this list all day and couldn't find any reason or way to avoid it
so here i am, suscribed and hoping that someone does actually know what to do
