[debian-knoppix] First time questions , knopper's how-to
Hello all,
First off all I would like to thank klaus knopper
for making knoppix and all other people that help to
make knoppix better,
Sorry If I make a question that has already been
covered -pointing me to the appropied mail will also
do-
I have for some time now managed to remaster knoppix
with the instructions given in knoppix.net.
But I found that the original is twice as fast
(original 1.29 min, mine 2.49 min)
So what is klaus doing different, from what I have
searched in this list he is using some scripts.
O.K. so far, What I would like to know (and I will
understand if klaus don't want to answer that)
what is the disk layout of klaus, is he using
different partitions for /,
/KNOPPIX.build, and /KNOPPIX.build/Knoppix.Master?
Is he booting into a live system?
How did he did that (booting in a live system)?
How is the file mkisofs.timestamp created?
In what order does klaus use the scripts?
questions for one day.
