Subject: [debian-knoppix] beating ghost, Speed & Size Limit
I read your posting about the disk backup being slow.
One thing that comes to mind is that Linux generally doesn't deal with files
over 2gb in size, does Debian? If not, then what happens is the file just
keeps on copying, or some other random event. I've had the same problem
copying a backup file from a windows machine that was 2.5gb. The copy
stopped after a couple of hours when it has used the 17gb free space!
