[debian-knoppix] Hardware install howto or Klaus's fantastic hw-scan on knx-installed HD?
Hello out there,
followed some days your discussions, searched archives (Googling etc) but got
stuck. In the past I worked with SuSE (pretty different) and they put a lot
away - especially hardware detection things - from user.
I successfully installed Debian from Klaus's distro. NIC & X runs fine but
that's it. I would love to have that wonderfull HW-detection that Klaus
provides on his CD. On the same machine everything works wonderfully from CD.
Now I am asking myself if there is any Mini-HowTo out there describing the
steps to do for a Debian newbi trying to fix things to get all working.
Extremely helpfull would be something that describes differences from anyone
who was former with SuSE.
Is there anything like that?
