[debian-knoppix] cloop v1.02 and Debian Woody with vanilla 2.4.22 kernel doesnt work. Why?
Hi all!
I want to mount a compressed KNOPPIX-Image with the cloop module.
The image is only 78MB big, so i thought it no problem to mount it
(the Knoppicillin CD-Rom from c't magazin 20/03).
I use Debian woody with 512MB RAM an 512MB Swapfile.
# insmod cloop file=/home/KNOPPIX
Using /lib/modules/2.4.22/kernel/drivers/block/cloop.o
/lib/modules/2.4.22/kernel/drivers/block/cloop.o: init_module: Cannot
allocate memory
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters

What goes wrong here? Thanks for any hints.
