[debian-knoppix] Grub/LPrng Knoppix 3.2

Well Group;
After doing "apropos cups" I found "coupsdconf" which is a X based printer setup
programs in knoppix 3.2. Problem is it fails due to a lack of some config file.
"ldd" shows no missing libs and "strace -o file.txt /usr/bin/cupsdconf" shows no
errors of value. Due to the 700M CD limit is cups not complete?
Has anyone gotten this to work? Is there another program that is either text/command
line or GUI in knoppix that works to setup a printer?
