[debian-knoppix] Idea: Adding a modules directory in the uncompressed part of the CD
Hi!
I thought, it would be nice to have knoppix look at a place for a module on
CDROM for those, who are not that trained in remastering a CD, but just need
to get one more kernel module to work with their setup
right now , the CDROM looks like this:
3105 ./Demos/Audio
3107 ./Demos
704636 ./KNOPPIX
225 ./Makingof
2419 ./Talks
I think it would be nice, if Knoppix would look at the cd and check, if a
module directory (like ./module) exists there. If so, the modules are made
available, otherwise it just goes on as usual.
I do just need one kernel module and would like just to keep the original
image untouched.
Do you think that is a good idea?
