I have tried echo "scsi-add-single-device 0 0 0 1" > /proc/scsi/scsi and only LUN 0 is still shown. I guess I'll just have to get a CF card. Thanks for the help.

Nio, because this would result in erraneous CD-Roms createin up to 7
desktop icons.

So, just activate it by

echo "scsi-add-single-device 0 0 0 1" > /proc/scsi/scsi
(or chose the SCSI IDs accordingly).
