[debian-knoppix] Hardware diagnostic tools

Hi All, 

I understand that alot of people use knoppix as a rescue/maintenace disk. So I 
was wondering what hardware diagnostic tools, if any, exist on the CD? 
For example if a graphics card or soundcard does not appear to be working, can 
I boot up with knoppix 2, into textmode and check it?
